Random thought of the day - are pea shooters still a thing ?

I remember it was perfectly normal and considered good fun - to fire hardened peas at each other - and if one copped you on the head - it didn't half heard - but as a rufty tufty 9 years old you just rolled with it !!

Whatever happened to the pea shooter ?

In the US it was replaced by the much cheaper automatic rifle.

Kids today chew up up bits of paper and spit it through biro tubes. This means pages missing from exercise books and no pen to write with any way.
