I quite like the odd bit of bread with some on, but it really comes into its own when used in cooking. Sticky chicken, monkfish with lentils and others go bang with some peanut butter.

Try some on top of a decent home-made, or indeed shop-bought, cheeseburger and thank me later.

I don't like it much, (the texture particularly puts me off) but the taste when it's incorporated into other things is quite nice; So I like crunchy peanut butter Clif bars, and Reese's products, and I'll happily cook with it. (Satay etc).

My daughter adores the stuff.

Peanut butter and banana sandwich is my fav. Bought a jar of Proper Nutty which is very good, it's on special offer in Asda at the moment.

Try it with thin layer of Vegemite (or Marmite if you must) underneath then the peanut butter on top.

Heathen. It’s peanut butter first, then swirl the Marmite on top as the warm toast makes the PB flow. Don’t get me started on the pre-mixed version - nice but not the real deal.

Peanut butter and marmalade is pretty good too.
