Apologies for using "disease"* instead of "disorder" or "condition" But that's the only thing I apologise for.
ALL I said was there was a link between epilepsy and deja vu. If you have a problem with that, please take it up with the NHS
Symptoms of a simple partial seizure can include:
I never mentioned witch craft. Please read what I wrote, not what you imagine I wrote.
(
@dave r, please click the link above, and consider talking to your GP about your deja vu.)
**Note: many diseases aren't contagious.
First question. Are you qualified to make a diagnosis of epilepsy, online and without any further evidence?
Your source, wiki, also puts a link between epilepsy and witchcraft. I do hope you're using something more reliable than this though. Although I doubt this.
What you have said, shows just how little you know of the condition you are telling someone else they may be suffering from. Most of which hasn't been heard since the 1980's and before
Given that 1 in 5 people will suffer a fit/seizure at some point in their life, should they all go and seek medical advice, from someone trained to give that advice. One fit/seizure does not, nor never has meant that a person has epilepsy. You're "advice" would be better ignored. Mention of the word epilepsy, even in the workplace, by an unqualified person can ruin a life. At one stage enough to annul a marriage. Even today, failure to disclose it to any employer can leave you out of work.
Question
Have you ever day-dreamed. If so, using your own diagnosive methods, I'd consider getting checked for epilepsy. There used to be, and in some places still are, strong medical beliefs that the two are connected. I last heard it said to me was in the 70's(1970's). Why? Because it could be an absence seizure. You see the same part of the brain is involved. In the same way the area used for memories was classed as a seizure type. Oddly it's the same area that connects deja vu, memory loss and epilepsy in many textbooks
With regards getting in "
touch with my own brain care specialist and make sure everything is ship shape". I'm having to do this for something new to me, personally, CSF leaks. See what wiki says about those. At one stage it was believed to be the demons inside, that were actually trying to escape. Thankfully most people have left that notion where it belongs, in the past. The comment made by you is one similar to many made over the years, but seldom has that person said it to my face, within arms reach.
I was lucky! in that I was born with the condition. But I've still had to put up with what other people think causes it, what I should and shouldn't be allowed to do.
When you next walk through a city with this lot on your head, let me know how it felt and peoples reaction to it.
That's not me, nor was mine covered in the way shown in the picture.
I've not had to look this up, apart for the picture used, because I've only had to live with it.
You might want to check wiki for Van Gogh, Dickens, and "Flo-Jo"(died during a seizure).
