At work, time flies by.
In the evenings I do not have enough time with the kids.
On weekends there isn't enough time due to number of things that have to be done.
Holidays seem to go at a good pace because I take time to enjoy each hour.
I really enjoy my sleeping time.
There never seems to be enough non-rain days so time to go the the park is limited. Even when not raining, it's usually for the grass to be soggy from previous rain, so no time there either.

Considering these things, generally life is flying by and it does not appear to be that long before I pass away. Interestingly I asked the SO what she would do if she only had one day left and she said she would carry on working. That totally gave me a new insight.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

That is really quite sad that someone would spend their last day working IMHO. Working is the last thing i would do.

Sleep is something I need, I do see it as time I am missing though. I wasted a lot of days getting up at 7am I now and have done for many years get up at 5am I feel like I have gained another day a week. I am though in bed most nights by 11pm.

Time slows down when observed, its the quantum time distortion at play.

Time slows down when at work and speeds up when at home. It's the law.

There was an experiment no the telly once, one bloke was sat in a room with entertainment i.e. playstation, books, games and some attractive 20-somehting girls to play (games) with. Another bloke was sat in a room on his own and given 25kg of potatoes to peel. They each had to come out of the room when they thought 15 minutes had elapsed. The potato man came out after 12 minutes, whilst the other man came out after 22 minutes or something. Not very scientific but QI
