To save time, if you look closely you may find that the manufacturer has already named your bike for you.
Check the down tube and top tube first.
An issue will only remain if you have more than one of the same bike, in which case I would like to speak to you for reference points for my next conversation with Mrs D.

Was recently accused by my Texas co-workers of calling my bikes after trailer trash.....
Trek - Sheryl (after Lance's squeeze at the time)
Focus Cayo - Sharleen (Spiteri of the band Texas......strange Texas coincidence going on, but she is deffo in the cor blimey category)
Wilier - Christina (was the first name that came to mind once I'd seen the name Wilier Triestina......wot can I say, I'm weak minded)
Now, what to call the C60 when she turns up from the lovely near naked Colnago hotties who are suitably oiled up.......the frames are manufactured by near naked oiled up lovelies, aren't they?

if my bike has a name, it's Moz's Bike, because that's who i bought it from 15 years ago. I have a guitar called Bentley, named after a very dear friend of mine who left me a little money when she died and that money bought the guitar, and another called Nick's Guitar, because that's who i bought it from. Oh, and there's another guitar named Gordon because that's what's written on the head. ...yes all very boring.
