PF30 Bottom Bracket Squeak Fixed

My new cycle shoes creak like a good un, at least I think it's the shoes.

I had a similar proble with the Campag Centaur Carbon (earlier Ultratorque one) on my Brompton... had it out twice. It seems fine.... finally turned out to be the springs on the cleat fittings on the pedals...

Reminds I need to find out what is causing the creak on my bike. Replacing the bottom bracket had absolutely no effect.

I finally eliminated the creak on my bike by servicing the internal gear hub. Go figure.

Tracing noises on a bike is always great fun, it's never what you think it is

The PF30 BB on my Team Carbon has never given any issues, but it's dry-use only. The bike makes plenty of other noises; mainly cable slap and road thumps being amplified by the tubes. I like riding my track bike because it makes no noise except for a swishing from the tyres and hubs.
