Whats the verdict on this Pinarello model. Apart from the (to me) unappealing colour scheme ?
Here you go :Any chance of a full bike picture - I think the colour could look pretty good when seen as a whole.
Yeah but is Pinarello all "mouth and trousers" or are the bikes worthy of the hype and is the "Treviso" a good or average example ?@woodbutcher stop teasing us and yourself just go and buy it now what are you waiting for
Looks like a time share!Woodbutcher, go on, you know you want to, and I am more than happy to stand in after DRM and look after it for you.
Including yours trulyOne day, @woodbutcher will announce that he's bought some ordinary run of the mill, gas-pipe steel bike, and everyone will be truly shocked.....
I think the opposite of a "central" producer of frames was the case . Hence you get all sorts of innovation and development of steel composition. On the other hand l bet there was a fair amount of "poaching" ideas and craftsmen between the manufacturers. On the matter of what the bike is like: was there a "central" mass producer of Italian bike frames in the 80's?
I am doing up a Dancelli at the moment which has many cosmetic similarities to this Pinarello (and Colnago).
