Pricing strategy?
Interested in a Pinnacle Dolomite Two from Evans Cycles, listed at £600.
I also see they offer £100 of free accessories with your purchase.
Now then, seeing as the Pinnacle is Evans own in-store brand - is it likely that they would factor this "offer" into their pricing of the bike? ie. am I really looking at a £500+ bike? Or maybe I'm just being nasty and sceptical... should I be concentrating on specs rather than pricing.
Good deal or not?
Alternatively, am I better off choosing a Specialized Allez Compact 2013 for £550?
I've test driven the Dolomite Two and seems rather nice, but can't source a Specialized ATM. Worried about buying blind.
