@jack smith the bike comes with campag khamsins

Thos is for the genesis, 10 speed rival. The carbon bike getting the 11 speed also has 5s but no luggage rack

i like them ,but i have nothing to compare with bar easton and red power mtb wheels.
they dont flex ,are as true as day one and look great to me, weight is good too..

Yeah those wheels were on the sensa I almost bought. I thought they rode nicely but I hankered after the shimano wheels on the bike I got.

@vickster ahh okay just thought you were buying a budget set of wheels i assume they wouod be similar to the7's which were horrid out the box for me before being rebuilt, the guy who has them now took them on the cobbles at the weekend and they are running great now though and he is a bigger guy too

I've done over a thousand miles on these 5s but the problem has occurred twice in as many weeks. It was the LBd that suggested a higher spoke count

One negative about Planet X that I'm currently experiencing and should be borne in mind: I have been in the market for a new bike for some time now and have considered all options before eventually plumping for a Planet X. The niggle that I've found is the delivery time. One thing the website doesn't make clear is just how long it will take to arrive with you. All the other bikes I've bought have come from shops so you walk in with your money and walk out with your bike. The Planet X website assured me they had plenty of the size and colour I wanted in stock and elsewhere on the site it states that it takes 3-5 days to build it for you. I placed my order last Tuesday night and only this evening received acknowledgement of the order which tells me the build of my bike (for which they've already been paid) will only commence on the 23rd! So it could well be July before I receive the bike I assumed (maybe naively) I'd already be riding.

Had I been aware of the time it takes to receive your bike from them after placing the order, it would have been taken into consideration. I may well still have gone for that particular bike but it's not something their website reveals.

I ordered mine on Friday, it'll be delivered tomorrow or Friday, having been built and despatched today Can't complain about a week...but then I have another 4 bikes to ride

I recently had a conversation about a ti bike with Condor. The frame is not available in my size at the moment and would need to be built in Italy. A 10-20 week build time. Given impending summer shutdown, 20 would be more realistic!
