From the weather forecasts I'm getting, it has to be Saturday outdoors, Sunday indoors. Probably head up towards Aylesbury / Chinnor way Saturday, maybe do three or four hours. Then if the Sunday forecast is accurate go into London and spend the day in the Tate or the National Gallery.

Not sure ... sleeping most of Saturday, then out for a few beers on the night. I've got to fit a silencer and a new clutch cable to my car on Sunday. Monday I might get out for a bike ride, if the weather's good. Then back to work Monday night.

Watching son no.2 play footy, for which I've got to help set up the goals. I think I'll take the dog. If they start losing, I'll release him to nick the ball. Following that, a great big dose of DIY.

Ride up to Darlington from Meanwood via Wetherby, Easingwold, Thirsk ad Northallerton. Pie stops at Easingwold (for a Whixley Pie) and Northallerton (pie made in Whitby) and possibly rounded off with a Taylor's growler in Darlington. Catch train back to Leeds. Tick off third 100km+ ride for the month.

Sunday:
Look for drive train components for Flying Gate on t'Internet.

Have a go at replacing a non return valve in a flame wand using a Woods cycle valve. Test fire the wand and deploy scorched earth policy on the few surviving weeds in the drive.

Relax.

What do you need? My girlfriend's dad is a big noise in the Vintage Cycle Club in Herefordshire, maybe he could get hold of some stuff.
