with a further show of appreciation for everyone playing. See the problem here? As an OP hoping for a large response, I can cast a blanket Like over practically everything, but that's too much work.

If I single out posts that actually make me LOL as opposed to simply smile, which is also a win in my book, it introduces an unwanted element of competition. It may also provide insight into my taste, which not only invites withering judgement, but on other platforms (I’m looking at you Facebook) gets fed into algorithms which shape the user experience and grease the mechanism facilitating the ongoing downfall of humanity and eventual heat death of the universe.
