Dangermouse knows that it was because I managed a stitch up and now feel bad about it!
I am no longer in possession of 'The Golden Knitting Needle' award anyway after Borgen Borgenson of Denmark won it back for the 6th time at this year's Championships in Hell, Sweden (considered considerably better than Rhyll by all involved incidentally).
Next year's championships are to be held in Arsey, France.
