Due to being hard of hearing (amongst other ailments), AT bought a rocking horse by mistake, instead of a rocking chair.

Colly asked for a Penguin at his corner shop once when he was seven, and was very surprised when instead of giving hima delicious chocolatey snack bar, the owner presented him with a two foot six high flightless seabird, and demanded £1100, saying, when Colly protested, 'do you have any idea how rare penguins are in Walthamstow?'

On walking through Walthamstow one night, Colly came across a whole load of wild animals, such as foxes and badgers all there waiting about in line.
It turns out they were animal actors and actresses all auditioning for that years Springwatch.
Unfortunately, Colly couldn't understand what they were saying to each other (which is oddly ironic, being a Colly and all), took a few photographs and sent it into Springwatch, therefore diminishing the exclusiveness of being on the show to the animals when they all saw their faces as they were all waiting in line for their turn in the limelight.
Unknown to Colly, there is a price placed on his head by the Rebel Hedgehog Mafia if he ever steps into Walthamstow ever again.
