He's still never gotten over it and is utterly distraught, but he also never refuses to give up hope and he can be seen waiting, looking out of the window from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year.


Nobody has the heart to tell him that Doris got bored and left him for a nice Wood Pigeon in a nearby village.
