I've cycled my then 12 year old Dawes Galaxy down a dis-used Russian Air Base runway in Poland......which was a little creepy I must admit, particularly inside the bomb proof aircraft shelters !

When I was 18 I went to a Bon Jovi concert and I was right at the front and John Bon Jovi gave me five. It is the only famous person I have ever touched lol. At the same time I only went because my younger horny girlfriend at the time was a fan. I was never into them then, and I am even less into them now. He seemed like a nice guy though, and they have a very good lead guitar player (even though the music is cheese).
Having said that I enjoyed the concert. More than I can say when I went to see Bryan Adams when I was young as a group of mates liked him. I am sure that I probably brought a bit of sick up in my mouth and swallowed it again when he did that song Everything I Do For You or whatever it was called, and everybody except me had their lighter's on above their heads
So I used to have a habbit of seeing bands I did not like to please other people. Now I do not do it anymore. Status Quo played at a festival where I used to live a couple of years ago, my wife asked me if I would take her to see them, I politely told her no f*****g way.
