Pedantic I know but the motorcycle sidecar in the photo is not a BMW but a Dneiper. A Russian version that due to the vast expense and availability of the original the Russian versions are mocked up. Most war films have these in as well.

Many moons ago, around the time this thread was started, I bit and argued the toss with good old "Rosmary" (there was a back story about the spelling of "her" name that had something to do with illiterate parents registering the birth). I soon realised the account was a parody account and I usually pride myself in spotting these things but at that time and place, I fell for it hook, line and sinker (I'm embarrassed to say). All the tweets I responded to (some of which are reproduced in this thread) have since been deleted.

My excuse is that around that time, this parody account was posting stuff not far removed from some of the "real" accounts coming up in my feed.
