We used to concertina fold them so there were ten stacked up and then hit them with a hammer.

Mind you, I am mystified why we had caps, as toy guns were banned in our house.

This reminds me of school milk.

Or - during an Australian summer on days when it was above 30C before morning playtime - school yoghurt.

(I don't miss it. Never liked chugging warm milk, unless it has a shot or two of espresso in it)

We used to put a load in between 2 bolts screwed into a nut. Then throw it in the air/against a wall.
