I saw an old casio digital watch today. Made me nostalgic for the one I used to have in the 80s
Alf was in the Rover I think.Alf Tupper (Tough Of The Track) was my favourite character in the comic Victor.
None of this nutritionist nonsense, fuelled on fish and chips wrapped in newspaper, he beat them all.

I think he was also a welder by day(reminds me of the footballer Tom Finney..'The Preston Plumber' who was a plumber by day while being the best footballer at the time, for England and Preston North End) ,but wasn't his favourite 'grub' faggot and chips?Alf Tupper (Tough Of The Track) was my favourite character in the comic Victor.

I've still got a full system, though the tape deck is somewhere up in the loft. The amp is hooked up to the TV, who needs a soundbar?I still use mine, but it's down to the amp and tuner now ☹
