They are certainly hard to find.

What did you do about the holes where the badge was riveted on on the head tube?

I cannot seems to loosen one side of the bottom bracket (chain ring side), is it a left hand thread?

Another question, did you manage to fit the sealed BB without any filing?

sorry, missed these posts. there were no holes as the head badge was a sticker(!). and yes, the thread is different on each side of the BB.

Another question, did you manage to fit the sealed BB without any filing?

yeah, there were no problems converting from unsealed to sealed. the only problem i had was due to overspray on the thread.

I had to take mine to the LBS to get the other BB cup out - charged me £5 which did seem a bit steep. He did run a tap through it though to clean the threads up. Took him about 10mins as it was pretty tight!

I had to get the holes on mine welded up in the end.

The LBS did say that I might need to grind/file away the protruding tubes inside the BB housing. Do you think this sounds likely?
