Puncture repair patches

After having 4 punctures this week i ran out of patches, went to the local bike shop and got 12 for £2.80.
i was wondering if anybody knows where you can buy them in bulk, say a box of 30 to 50.
or is it a bad idea because they may go off and perish

I'd be looking to replace the tyres with some puncture resistant ones, if that's how many you've had in a single week.

If you got 4 in a row there's something still embedded in the rubber of the tyre that is not visiable but still creates a puncture when under pressure.

Get the tweezers or a small sharp knife point to dig with and examine any small cuts in the tyre for glass slivers or thorns, also run your fingers round (carefully) inside the tyre body to see if you can feel anything pointy with the faintest of protusion.
