I've always tried to eat properly, rehydrate and take recovery drinks. Since starting nights a few months ago, I have a SIS night time drink - used to be called nocte - before going to bed. Initially it was to try and make sure I got proper sleep, but it seems to iron out the kinks in muscles wonderfully.
This seems a bit like overkill to me unless your commute is a very long one. That said though, the aim is to get as many people out on bikes as possible so if it works for you keep it up! :biggrin:
