They do - You can tell from the shape of the back whether it's a pee or a poo, especially with a female dog.

Ok, so this is not so much a daft question, more one where I cannot seem to get a clear answer.

It is: On what mountain was the glacier that caused the recent flash flood in Nepal?

Was it Langtang Lirung, or Tsangbu Ri?
Was it on the ridge in between? 🤔🤷‍♂️

This whole thing has fascinated me for the past few days, I mean, you only need to look at the footage and see the staggering amount of physics involved alone, especially at the border in Rasuwagadhi! 😵‍💫

The bridge wiped out in the video from Nepal. I crossed that bridge back in March.

Yes, my daughter sent us a photo from when she was back packing, about 15 years ago. Standing in the valley where the tragedy has occured.
Can only imagine how many unfortunate students, backpacking, came to grief

The main road from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Chitwan runs alongside the Trishuli river along there. About 13km of the road are buried in mud now. There are 45 motorable bridges gone, and I think about 32 suspension bridges that have been ripped to shreds. Proper modern thick steel cable suspension bridges just destroyed. Not the old hemp rope ones of the 90s. Only way in and out to villages on other side is helicopter and being monsoon they can’t always fly. Plus very mountainous tricky terrain.

By the way the bridge in video is 124km from the Tibet border post. The destructive force was far reaching.

I thought maybe either of you might have had an idea.

To be fair though, both peaks seem to be part of the same mountain, so I suspect it happened somewhere in between or similar.

Then again, Langtang Lirung is only the world's 99th highest peak, so, hardly worth getting out of bed for... 🤦‍♂️

It's more the height and cruising speeds of most commercial aircraft operate at that makes them impractical.
