Somebody wasting my money. If you were asked about the provision of painted bike boxes, by your council, what image would that question bring to mind?

Still worth it, but if there's more than one lane on the approach, there's space to allocate a 2.5m left lane for cycles only to reach the box. Most governments won't do that yet, though. Then my next thought would be don't bother, unless you're also providing a safe lane in order it can be accessed without filtering.
Keep encouraging people to report them to www.tramcrash.co.uk please. Our big problem is riders sliding off or getting fought in the tram tracks.
Actually stopping for an amber like you should seems quite likely to get you shunted now![]()
Would you like to try that again? http://highwaycode.info/rule/175You shouldn't stop for an amber light though, unless it is not safe to continue through.
