Just looking at some Shimano R098 shoes which fit my limited budget perfectly but will they fit my feet?

My tootsies are 42 in all normal shoes the nearest size i can find in stock is 41 is it going to be comfortable/ will it stretch a bit or should I really stick to the correct size.

Failing that can some one recommend where I can get some reasonable shoes for 40 quid or less and if the same place has cheap compatible pedals then double thumbs up

thanks

Cycling shoe sizing can be quite odd. Like helmets, they're the kind of thing you really have to try on to see if they fit. Some are really narrow, others quite wide.

My regular shoes are all 45's yet my Spesh road shoes are a 44, my Diadora MTB shoes are a 45 and my Shimano touring shoes are a 46.
