rain jacket

hello all,can anyone recommend a descent rain jacket that will withstand heavy downpours for no more than 60 pound,ive never tried a cycling specific rain jacket but my helly hanson 160 pound jacket starts to let water in after about 15 mins,thankyou

Hopefully somebody will suggest a good cheap one but in the past I've found cheap waterproofs are boil in the bag, you stay more comfortable drier without them! I like to wear the not 100% waterproof Montane Featherlite, iirc it costs only £30 or £35 it much more breathable and for those odd occasions where its really wet a gilet on top or below, keeps me warm and dry.

Yip, its called the 'For Sale' section in 'Classifieds', I forget the exact rules but you simply need to have made a certain number of posts first, then you can place an ad.
