Don't understand this "adults can't ride them" chat, or that they are hopeless when it comes to handling. I'm 6"1' and 37 years old and have no issues on mine.

Sure, I'm not gonna be setting any Strava records or whatever, but for cruising around it's a lot of fun.

You don’t really, we think everything from our childhood was amazing, the reality is that the Chopper was a complete load of crap
I used to go on quite long rides with mine. They're no heavier or more clunky to ride than a 60s Moulton, which many people would regard as a worthy machine!

Agree.
I virtually lived on mine. Loved it. Swapped for a Grifter as I said above, got rid of that for a Coventry Eagle road bike.

I remember friends staring into the bike shop window when they first came out. I was less impressed and aspired to very tall and wide cowhorns like the big lads.
