My guess is it’s the same boat, just not the original boat. Kind of makes sense.
Interestingly for your avatar, they mentioned in Captain Tom’s 100th fly past that the Spitfire and Hurricane on display were over 75 years old but many parts had been replaced numerous times over the years

Ok, how about this one. The Ancient Greeks were renowned for their wooden ships. Over time pieces become rotten and have to be replaced. Is it now the same ship? If not, what has happened to the original? And if I collected all the rotten pieces which were replaced over time and so eventually the whole ship had been replaced and built these up into a ship, which ship is original?
Believe it or not, this is a dilemma which the Ancient Greeks pondered.

The Human body replaces its cells over time with a completely new skeleton every 10-11 years. Are you still “you” after 12 years have passed?
