Just come back from my new patient check at my new doctors and have been told I can ignore a BMI result of 24.5 coming in at 71kg... (female 170cm!). That's 12kg more than when I set off to cycle around the world... and didn't. Whilst it falls inside the under 25 category, the nurse decided that it really didn't apply to me and whilst sitting there in my lycra marked me down under the category "fitter than fit"!
Now I really do have the excuse its muscle... except for the 36DD bit...
She knows how to make a woman feel good.
Still scary that I weigh more than 11 stones though and am a size 10-12 except that DD bit!
