if it's for a bike, why not a whole new tube?

A new tube would be just too expensive. The first tube was bad enough. I think our Swiss Friend will have to find another option.

About -273C! It's also called absolute zero as in it's absolutely bloody freezing!

If we fill it with all the CO2 from the atmosphere, do you think it will be enough to stop Global warming, and would we be likely to spontaneously ignite if we take too much out ? :biggrin:

The LHC thingy is filled with Helium, this makes its wheels lighter and so faster. Don't some people fill their car tyres with nitrogen for some reason?

Done because it doesn't have the expansion rates of normal air when warmed.

Used on the track !
