The song "All By Myself" written and sung by Eric Carmen was released in 1975 and got to No 2 in America.
It sold over a million copies in America.
The music was based on Rachmaninoffs concerto number 2 which was out of copyright .........in America.
What "they" didn't realise was that was not out of copyright in many other countries.
When it all came out Carmen agreed to pay 12% of royalties on that and a follow up song based on the same concerto.

In the movie Jaws (spoilers if you haven't seen it!!):

1. The mechanical shark was nicknamed Bruce & built by the SFX guru who did the giant squid in 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.
2. Robert Shaw wrote some of the famous 'USS Indianapolis' speech.
3. The famous jump-scare shot of the severed head was filmed in a backyard swimming pool.
4. The stunt woman eaten at the start had to be pulled sideways by technicians with ropes & finally dragged under by...Steven Spielberg.
The girl in the sea actually broke her ribs, as the harness she was wearing was being pulled from each side at the same time, apparently because there was a mix up. The screams were real due to the pain but they all thought it was her great acting!

Richard Dreyfuss also tells the story that in post production sound recording, to recreate her gargling screams, Spielberg was in the studio pouring water into her mouth, so technically 'waterboarding' her.

In folklore, Saturday was often viewed as the best day to hunt vampires, as this was the day of the week when they were restricted to their coffins.

It was also believed in the Balkans that if somebody was born on a Saturday then they could see a vampire that was invisible to others, and that these people were the best recruits to become vampire hunters.
