I'm just thinking about preparations for my bike this winter (judging by this "summer", winter is a month away). Is there any contraption that I can screw into the rear eyelet (on bike or on rack) that allows support for two rear lights? Like a type of double-mounting bracket, if that makes sense?

Apologies if this has already been asked. It's difficult to seach for something when you don't even know what you're talking about...

For commuting i have panniers that have loops to clip a light in at the back, along with one in the middle which i have mounted on the back of the rack with one of these ..

What you could also do is use a bracket that allows you to mount stuff on your handlebars and strap it to the seat post so you can stick loads of lights on it( damn if i can think what they are called atm )

Or you could get a rear light with a double flasher ...

Another thing i used to do was to use the smaller chain stay mount and pad them out with the rubber so i could mount it on the rack itself at the top on the rail that the bag clips too.

Double flashers are ok (I've got a cateye 1100) but I'd much prefer it if it used 2 sets of batteries ie One set for one bank, one for the other, effectively giving 2 sets of rears in one housing.
Would hope it reduce chances of losing both sets at the same time.
