Rebecca Rusch - 138-mile trek down Kokopelli Trail

At midnight April 27, 2013, Rebecca Rusch began her trek down the iconic 138-mile Kokopelli Trail looking to break the female time record of 15:03:00. Rusch rode from Moab, UT to just outside Loma, CO, crushing the record by more than 90 minutes.

I can't help wondering why on those hard dry trails she didn't use a crosser or even a Roubaix with textured tyres.
