Recommend me some flat pedals

Have used DMR V8s in the past good but paint finish wears off quickly then they look tatty. These keep their colour and grip like glue.

cheers.. I am sure the ones I have ordered will be fine. The bike is a clunker to keep at Waterloo. Looks crap at least, so paint peeling off will be no issue - will enhance its theft proofing!

I've used them on several MTBs and build quality is consistently very good.

Just received a pair of these. One of them span about as smoothly as a pepper grinder (I'd read the reviews so wasn't surprised/disappointed) but it only took a few minutes to get the pressure on the retaining nut right ( I cleaned and re-greased the bearings while I was at it - probably not necessary ) and I'm more than happy with them at the price. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yeah, should have mentioned they sometimes need a tweak to get the bearing pre-load right on delivery.

Too late to be any use to the OP, but I use these for a short comute, with a range of work shoes and have been very happy with them.

I also occasionally do a longer leisure cycle with them wearing trainers and find they work there as well.
