I have no idea what Cadence is?

Budget? Not over £100 . If I stay with cycling and buy a new bike (Road/Cyclo/Hybrid), then I want the computer to last me for a long time.

rich p I was looking at the computers on airevalleycycle website and they only have Cateye's so that's why I said them. i used to have a cycling computer, but I can't find, I must have thrown it away at some point.

I think I'm 'Edging' towards the Garmin 200.

I wouldn't mind upgrading my 200 for the 800, But when i think that cost more than either of my bikes,:headshake:

I would love to own one of the more expensive ones but I can't afford it lol

smokey - Think I might just go and get one!!
You know it makes sense.

Even you do feel the need to upgrade then they're an easy sell anyway. If you've no interest in cadence and heart rate then forget the 500, those two things are the only difference from the 200.

If you decided you wanted full mapping then the general consensus is that the older 800 is better than it's replacement the 810 due to bugs.

Now I have to figure out how to put on the bike!
Piece of piddle Sir. The bracket uses rubber bands that stretch around the stem or bars to hold the mount in place, the unit just twist locks into the mount.

I've actually fitted one of THESE forward mounts for mine, I find it better as I can see it easier being a further forward.
