I wonder what a trick cyclist would make of that.

I remembered while I was out that my dream also had a small tidal wave coming at my front door, as I watched from my 1st floor living room.🤔

It wasn't last night as such when I had this not quite a recurring dream, more a similar to the previous I'd say. It was more this morning, even afternoon as I didn't wake up till 3.09pm. It was the one where I'm wanted by the police, more CID than the uniform lot, for some serious crime committed years ago. This time I'd been told to stay at home with my wife (the ex Mrs Accy that is, who I haven't seen or spoken to in going on for five years), to wait to be taken into custody. I can't quite remember why. I think it was for either theft or serious assault. Anyway, to cut to the chase I bribed the plod with some gold bullion bars I just happened to have. They left, thinking they were taking the gold with them, but while they were chatting amongst themselves I swapped the holdall full of gold bars with a holdall full of old house bricks, allowing me to keep my swag! 🧐 What did that dream mean, I wonder.🤔

I’ve not had it for some time. But my recurring dream was always me amongst some sort of catastrophe starting. And my legs always them stopped ‘working’ - and I couldn’t run; to save myself…..

I never experience me dying in my dreams. I've fallen off cliffs, been shot at, sank under the ocean, touched 50,000 volt live cables, been chased by lions, etc etc, but I always wake up before my death, or I somehow just do not die in dreams, no matter what happens to me! 🤔

I read you are somewhat paralysed in your sleep to stop you running around and acting out your dreams. When you start to wake up this paralysis infiltrates your dreams. Not being able to walk is quite a common one.

My reoccurring stress / anxiety dream involves school or university exams. I have forgotten to revise or complete my coursework and it’s too late.

The more stressed I am at work the more regular the dream.

Me too. Every summer I wake up thinking my exams are due and I haven't started to revise yet.

the one that has always bothered me since being a child is a dwarf staring at me with malice and it won't go away. typically it will be standing in the garden starring at the window. probably get this dream every month or so, and may be once a year I will wake the wife up shouting at it to go away. It has always quite spooked me - wonder what the significance of it is ?

Generally my dreams are good and I enjoy them, had a good one last night, can't even remotely remember what it was about but remember waking up and thinking, 'that was good'

I haven't had an exam anxiety dream for a good decade or two now.

Ski-ing anxiety dreams have been a lot harder to shift, probably because I haven't taken an exam since 1993, but have done a lot more skiing since then.
