Riding whilst using only a rear, seems to be coming a bit more commonplace.
Yebbut, they're not just flashing green, they're FRIKKING LASERS!I've got a magicshine which worked well yesterday even though I hadn't charged it for a month and wasn't sure how much charge it had left.My fronts were fine as I have charged them the night before but my frame lights and other steady back light struggled but I had a spare battery pack with me so I got by.
Just reminded me...White on rear red on front...wtf?
The new Boris Bike green flashing on the front, irritating as fk.I mean wtf?![]()

Green!
You're a medic?
Stupid level. You never stated the level of light , which must be a factor. Winjim
The portable cycle lane! Not me,they have fitted the Boris Bikes with a flashing green on the front.Gives out a cycle logo as well.
The portable cycle lane!
Don't get me started. I appear to have got myself banned from commenting on the manufacturer's facebook page. I was somewhat critical let's say.The portable cycle lane!
When I rode one on Thursday it appeared that the green projected image was steady, unless the bike was stationary, when it switched to flashing after a short while. Where this gets,s us on the legality question I don't know. I'm assuming the bike still had its regular white and red lights, but didn't check.I really don't get it.Since when did green flashing become legal? I don't mind white flashing but green seems to be ridiculous.I never really had any problems spotting a boris bike before.
