On a serious note, the wall has been damaged by the falling tree.
I wonder if the damage to the wall as a scheduled ancient monument will be considered more serious than the damage to the tree.

I would very much think so. Just look at the national Trust. They have nature as one of their core values but do very little for their ancient trees. Meanwhile the buildings are treated like gods, despite not being living and are often younger. :rolleyes:

In his later years Roger Moore was visibly unwell. People prefer to remember him when he was young and healthy.

Nobody wants to see the sicker Moore.

Perhaps the damage to the wall will help lead to the CPS putting a concrete case against the criminals, hopefully the jury won’t splinter and the verdict will be suitable and be plastered all over the media
