read the articles..... yes they are both saying I didn't do it it was him. And each defence lawyer will say if to the jury "if you arent sure it was him the you can't find him guilty" its the trying to create to reasonable doubt defence. If they don;t blame each other then they are both likely to get convicted as acting in collusion, which is the argument of the prosecution barrister - "you planned and did it together, one of you sawed it down whilst the other filmed it."

Its hard to see them being found not guilty tbh.

Both Guilty - unanimous verdict.

take them down! - well sentencing will be later.....

Not really had thye reached a verdict yesterday would have been back at work today. By reaching a verdict after 20 mins tis morning they got to have some more HMCS coffee and biscuits and an early start to the weekend

Fair point well made

As always, there is more going on than is apparent to a casual follower of the news, further warning to us to be wary of jumping to conclusions.

The december incident led to the first postponement. it was reorted an ambulance had been called to his property after some altercation. it didnt say whether it was a 3rd party or teh other defendent.

So both found guilty. Their defence of “I didn’t do it” was rejected. Who could have seen that coming.

A barrister on the radio said his advice if he was representing them would have been plead guilty asap and seek to minimise the punishment.
We don’t know what they were told, but it seems that they may have gone against legal advice and the punishment will now be far worse.

They very clearly did exactly that, adding a whole new layer of stupidity to their actions.
