Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
The earliest possible guilty plea gets a defendant one-third off the sentence that would have been handed down at a trial.

They were probably told but they just didn't cedar light.

I can’t imagine why they aren’t going to be sentenced until July. Found guilty, sentencing guidelines will be in place. I don’t know if they have been remanded in custody, but assume not as the BBCs news website doesn’t state it.

Just another opportunity for the lawyers to bill another day.

They've been remanded for their own protection, Graham has been in custody since December.

Don't they need a mental health assessment as well

conclusion - they are morons

It's already been mentioned that Graham is having one: it will take 6 weeks to prepare. They'll have to go down some kind of coercion route with that if they do.

I don't think this pair are on each others Christmas card list any more. The whole thing is a pretty sad really.

Pre-Sentencie Reports have been a thing since 1991, prepared by the Probation Service, not by the defence or prosecution.

For obvious reasons, the process of compiling them doesn't start until and unless a guilty verdict is delivered.
