Well my post of a few weeks ago, predicting she would not last till December was right.I could not believe how she had shrunk and how much weight she had lost,then I saw the photo this week of meeting Truss and she looked awful.Thank you for your service mam.My former mates in Royal Mail former service men have paid tribute to her on their FB pages.

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

That’s a little unfair. Truss looked positively average.

As I type there is a special photo above my right shoulder.It is a framed card in a frame bought from The Palace, the card is from Her Majesty with wishes to my inlaws celebrating a very long marriage. My mother in law was so proud of this picture and frame which Mrs P sorted out.

We found out by text from our daughter we were out in the car. Its not often I have seen Mrs P shed tears,but she did then,it brought back memories of her lovely mum dying last December.
