Ritchey WCS Logic 1'' headset - why so hard to find one "in stock"?

Happy New Year all!

I have been trying to get a Ritchey WCS Logic 1'' threadless headset but, so far, I have not found a single online shop with one in stock. 1 1/8'' I can certainly find but not 1''. I particularly want this headset so it can compliment the WCS bars and stem I already have. I can order the 1'' from a couple of places but it will be a couple of weeks before it arrives and I am an impatient sod.

Are 1'' headsets just not used much anymore or is 1 1/8'' the norm now?

1" are mainly threaded and some aheads. Most common now is 1-1/8" and larger.....

I'd wait if you want the correct part. I had to wait for a Dura Ace 7410 headset for one of my steel bikes....took some sourcing, but SJS were my final call - they got it direct from Madison. If you want the matching part, then patience......
