Does anybody know what 700x22/23c on the tires? I plan on changing the tires on my road bike but don't know what size it needs.

Sheldon_Brown explains it all for you.

700 refers to the diameter of the wheel at the outer edge of the rim.

22 or 23 refers to the width of the tyre. The most common size for road bikes is 700x23.

The "c" is pretty irrelevant these days.

700 is an approximation of the outside diameter of the tyre.
in the case of 622x23 - that'll be nearer to 668mm

however, the rim bead diameter is 622. speak etrto, order etrto, think etrto and type in etrto - you won't be caught out.
