Have you gone back to Ribble and talked nice to them? The worse they can do is say ‘no’. . .
No. Had it a while now. However, a few people here now are saying that the medium is indeed the right size, it is just that as a minimum I need to raise the saddle, ‘possibly’ extend the bars and maybe get a bike fit.

1st thoughts to me is that the bars look to low rotation wise which is overextending your reach

At 5’10” I’d have bought that size over the next size up too. I think we've to bear in mind in every picture you’re leaning against a shed to support your self. It’s only an approximation of your riding position.
I wonder how much set back you’ve left in your saddle adjustment? Are your arms straight because you’re holding yourself up instead of balancing your body in that position.

Good morning,

Another well intentioned thought. :-)

Although the frame might be a little too small, the difference between saddle height and bar height would be the first area that I would be worrying about.

Anyone with a saddle higher than the stem is a racer, the same height they are sensible and lower and they are comfortable.

So it might be worth looking for stem to raise the handlebars as much as possible certainly inches not mm and looking at the stem there doesn't seem to be much scope for a longer one.

How dare you call the back of his house a shed

To me it looks like the saddle is too low. The leg looks quite a little too bent for my liking. I know it's not at the longest extension but I'm pretty sure it's a bit too low.
Ah right, guessing angles isn’t a strong point for me I thought it looked in the ball park..

I was looking at the heel and angle of the pedal which suggests to me the saddle doesn’t want to raise

This is a good example.
