Might seem a silly question but I want to check before I buy.

As long as the drop is correct, can I use Campag calipers with any brake leavers, for example shimano? I want to upgrade to campag but bit by bit due to cost, and I figured when I change the leavers I will need to change the derailleurs as well but I thought it would not matter for the calipers.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, all 'road levers' pull the same amount of cable. I've used various calipers with what levers I had to hand, without problems.

Campag brifters are so much cheaper then the corresponding Shimano levers. They work pretty well too. I have both and prefer the Campag.
Cool. I'd like to try the Campag ones but I suppose it would be an expensive mistake if I didn't like them. I've only ever used Shimano. Do they work in more or less the same way as the Shimano ?

Major difference is that the brake lever does not move to the side. Only the paddle beneath the lever moves as you move to a bigger chainring or cassette gear. Moving down involves a small button/lever moved by your thumbs - reachable from the drops or the brake hoods. Both cables go under the bar tape.
