Just got some SiDi road shoes and look keo max pedals. I've come from a mountain bike type spd cleat. As the cleat sticks out from the sole a fair bit do I need to raise the saddle at all to compensate or does it balance out once it's clipped in?

Feel lovely in the comfort of the house!

You may need to move the saddle up a few mm but not because of the pedals and cleats. Road shoes generally have an in built angle.
Best thing to do is go for a ride and see how it feels.

Once cleat angle was sorted I raised the saddle about 5mm, feels fine at that, will tell more after 50 miles on Sunday
