Is it just me or..

Has anyone else wondered why roadies can't have some kind of lightweight (not gossamer light) 'protection' for our little 'spillages'.

By that, of course I mean elbow, knee, shin pad type protection as sported by MTBers but more flexy & less bulky.

Just enough to lessen the results of impact & gravel rash.

Are there any such products even ?

We are not girlz like MTB folk, or indeed that lot that play football. Wear your scars with pride.

Right knee looks like yours, left is a little worse. But my right hip and right shoulder is what hurts the most. I think they are just bruised bad
I currently have the same, healing scabs on my right knee, and my right shoulder is recovering, but slowly. I still have full arm movement, although it hurts a bit, so I'm not concerned that I've actually broken something.

I did have my helmet on, doesn't cover my face though, maybe if I had a moto x helmet with the full face guard but find that a little hard to ride with. I did go in and get checked out, x rays on my hip and shoulder, no fractures. Im now on flexeril (muscle relaxer) Naprosyn(anti inflammatory ) and Norco. They do want me to watch my shoulder thinking it was possible i may have torn my rotator cup.
