I'm thinking maybe i will, maybe I should ride my bike there

NHS drop in centre, Victoria. About 3 years ago.Was that in the UK?
At secondary school, we used to play hockey on a so called all-weather pitch which was basically very fine gravel on tarmac. Made a lovely job of your skin in a fall.
Our sadistic PE teacher always took great delight in liberally coating the raw areas in Dettol![]()
Is it just me or..
Has anyone else wondered why roadies can't have some kind of lightweight (not gossamer light) 'protection' for our little 'spillages'.
By that, of course I mean elbow, knee, shin pad type protection as sported by MTBers but more flexy & less bulky.
Just enough to lessen the results of impact & gravel rash.
Are there any such products even ?
