Aye, wouldn't surprise me. Once in use t'is reckoned about 6 years before the're unsafe through age.

I don't rotate mine. I keep the best tyres on the rear on the basis that any understeer is annoying butnusually nothing more, but,oversteer can be jolly excitng indeed, or worse. I bin them off at 3mm - 1.6 in a continuous band around the central 75% of the tread surface is the legal limit, but at 3mm they cease to disperse water and may as well have no tread at all beyond that. Every major manufacturer (apart from Hankook) and RoSPA recommend binning them off at 3mm, which is exactly what we used to do in the dibble.

Much the same here, I have never run Dunlop Kojaks, my tyre pressures are checked far more often than the oil level.
