The women’s marathon finish was superb. The ability to sprint like that after 26 miles amazes me (the ability to sprint like that after a decent warm up run is beyond my comprehension to be honest!)
Disappointment in the 1500. Kerr got in a crap position from the start and then seemed to get injured and limped home.
Wightman hit the front about 200m out and looked good for gold but got pipped on the line by a fast finisher.
New beer mile world record, it’s stupid but also very impressive at the same time.
4.27 Is a great time for a normal mile. But add in 4 beers and it’s almost super human.
