Well, the plot thickens. I rang them to find out if the post is still available. Yes, they advertisied the post ten days ago, had over two hundred applicants and the post is filled. They didn't hang about did they. Then he, the managing director said could he ask me some questions; am I working at the moment, how old am I, have I got children*, how many hours would I like to work, and what sort of salary am I looking for?
*Very un pc, but I do not mind.
Long story short, can I send him a summary of my experience, and go and see him on Tuesday? I think that the Admin Manager post is filled, so maybe he knows he still needs a secretary type person, but cannot face advertising again, and wants someone in post quickly.
I am still very cautious but will see what happens. I will be careful to describe my skills accurately.

I have sent my e-mail detailing my work experience to date, and of-course I included lots of bullet points.
